Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I do not remember a time when I did not paint or draw. I have always enjoyed recreating beautiful things I come into contact with. Sometimes I see shapes and other times I see saturated color. Many times I paint what I want to document such a historic building or capture a memory. The images I create may be symbolic to events or interests that have shaped my life. My subject and style change depending on the mediums I use. Acrylics, watercolor, oil and soft pastels are part of my daily lifeeach lends itself to a different style and composition. My days are filled coaching eager artist to think creatively, to push beyond what they know and see. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to interpret the beauty in our world and brush it...
